"Hey, I think he's waking up..." a voice said in the distance.
Demyx was surfacing from a deep sleep. The last thing he remembered was swimming with the fishes, then laying on the bottom of the ocean, and the figure. Wait, did this mean the shark had gotten him? Was he dead? Was he among the angels, or at least wherever all the slain Heartless went? Demyx slowly opened his eyes. His eyelids felt heavy, and as soon as he got them open, a bright light infiltrated his senses. He put a hand up to shield his eyes from the light, but it did nothing. It was as if his hand were invisible. In turn, he squinted, and saw blobs of color around him. At this point he was pretty sure he was dead. His first year in the Organization, Xemnas made Demyx eliminate some colorful, blobby Unversed. He couldn't remember their name, but he was pretty sure they wanted revenge. "No...don't...hurt me..." Demyx mumbled.
His eyes soon after became accustomed to the light. He quickly realized he was in a hospital room, and the blobs were the members of the Organization rather than bloodthirsty Unversed. Zexion and Xigbar were the closest to him, with each of them to either side of the bed. As soon as he saw them, a pain in the back of his head made itself known. Demyx grasped the back of his head to try and ease the pain. A faint, steady beeping noise was heard. "Welcome back, Demyx," Zexion said softly. "We were really worried that you might not wake up again, at least for those first few hours. You lost a lot of blood back there. We were kind enough to help you out with that, especially since a Nobody's blood is much different from regular human blood."
Zexion rolled up his sleeve to reveal a bandage that looked like the ones they use once you're donated blood. Xigbar had one too. In fact, everyone in the Organization had one, except for Larxene. She probably shocked the heck out of the doctors that tried to poke her with something. "Where...what happened...?" Demyx asked tiredly.
"You are in a hospital, and from what we gained from Xigbar, it would appear you have survived a shark attack. If it had not have been for Xigbar's quick thinking, you would've been dead," Xemnas explained slowly.
Demyx looked towards Xigbar, who was blushing a little from the fact that he had saved Demyx's life. "Really, Xiggy?" Demyx asked.
"Hehe, yeah... You know, that shark was still chasing after you when I got there. Probably because it smelled the blood trail you left behind you. I beat it and brought you back to shore," Xigbar explained.
The beeping started speeding up. Demyx chuckled quietly at Xigbar's words, but then said, "That's my Xiggy..."
A long beeping noise was heard. Then the world went black again.

Demyx's eyes shot open. Doctors were standing around him, with one over him with electric pads. "He's back!" they said with relief.
The doctors packed up their shocking kit and filed out the door. The Organization members were all outside in the waiting area. One of the doctors came up to Xemnas and said something, but Demyx couldn't hear. Xemnas nodded, then turned to the other Organization members. He started saying something, then Xigbar and Zexion immediately rose up from their chairs with some sort of reply. Then, Luxord, Marluxia, and Axel stood. Xemnas turned to Xigbar and Zexion, and told them something. They then rushed over to Demyx's room. The door opened fast, and Xigbar and Zexion stepped through. They both looked like they were trying to fight off tears, but Zexion was better at it than Xigbar was. Still, their emotions couldn't be hidden.
"We really did lose you there for a minute, didn't we?" Xigbar said, wiping a tear from his scarred face.
"It took them awhile to get you back, but you're here with us once more, and I guess that's all that really matters," Zexion said.
"Yeah, this has been the weirdest vacation ever," Xigbar said.
Demyx felt tears coming to his eyes again. "I...I want to say, I'm sorry for...running away without...getting your side of...the story-" Demyx's voice went out.
"You're still thinking about that? Well, let's just forget that ever happened, alright?" Xigbar and Zexion both walked over and gave him a hug. Demyx felt as if he were on top of the world. "We'll make it up to you, Demyx. Tonight, maybe, if you get out of the hospital," Xigbar suggested. "And, we still do need to go to that arcade!"
The ninth installment of The Triangle! Some more explicit things will be following! Enjoy for now! And sorry this is a bit short!
